DOES IT ACTUALLY HELP?

Does it actually help? is an information- and education project about the Danish Development Cooperation. By presenting cases and initiatives that support global sustainable development, the aim of the project is to strengthen the target groups' acknowledgement of their own opportunities to contribute to change and development in a globalized society. The project will show that all people  - in Denmark as well as in the recipient countries - play an equal part in relation to solving global problems and that we all have a responsibility to contribute positively to change. The project comprises several educational films and associated teaching material, which can be freely accessed on Gyldendal Undervisning's digital platform. The project's primary target group are students in secondary school. Secondary target group for the films are DK4 viewers, as the film(s) will be shown on DK4 over a period of one year. The project will be developed and produces in collaboration with the NGO’s Stairway Foundation & Stairway Danmark, Gyldendal, 9th grade and their social studies teacher at Fuglsanggårdskolen in Virum.
